Vacation and new job!
Well, we had a great time in Bayfield last weekend with my family (just with Mom and Dad and Jake and Abby - Matt was filming a fishing movie). We camped right on the beach. We rented tandems on Madeline Island, spent time in Bayfield, and ate lots of smoked fish!
Another piece of news: Chris got a permanent job! He will be working as an education assistant in the construction program at district 916. He starts next Friday.

I love the house! I'm so happy for you and congratulations on the new job, Chris! Lord willing, we'll get to MN this fall-but maybe won't make it to TCBC if I have to take care of my mom. Love and hugs to all!

The bike ride was a highlight for me, also coffee and devotions by the lake and who could forget Emily's early morning dip in Lake Superior!
